About Benny Benassi
Benny Benassi was born in Milan in 1967 and then grew up in the provincial town of Reggio Emilia, Italy. He started dj-ing when he ws still at school and has been producing with his cousin Alle Benassi for about ten years at Off Limits studios. His first as a producer was with the track "I feel so fine" by KMC feat. Dhany which went to n°1 in the UK club charts in 2001. The following year, working under the BENNY BENASSI presents THE BIZ trademark, Benny and Alle came up with "Satisfaction" and in one fell swoop ravaged the dancefloors and dominated sales charts round the world. The album “Hypnotica" followed. In the meantime Benny and Alle produced more melodic dance music under the Benassi Bros. banner. The charts of half the planet gave them thumbs up.

KAP10KURT (NYC) - HTX 06/19

DANCE MOFO DANCE presents: HYPE! w/ KAP10KURT (NYC) at The Backroom/MINK!

**If you don't know who KAP10KURT is, then please read on.....
... he's badass... and you know we don't bring people to you who are anything less***

Originally from switzerland, he has been making music with a 4-Track cassette recorder and an Atari computer for many years before ending up with a proper studio set-upHis music draws from electro, gameboy noise, 80’s New Wave and 70’s synthesizer funk, and his trademark sound comes from using only vintage synthesizers that combine obese basslines and face-smacking drumbeats. He has released two amazing singles on Plant Music, “Mission Complete” and “Dangerseekers” which has also been featured on an uberhip Kitsune records mix compilation.

His live show combines an electronic drummer and Kurt head banging with a Roland SH 101 keytar duct-taped to a guitar strap. He also occasionally plays synths with a fine band some of you may have heard of… DEPECHE MODE, as well as works as a programmer for Dave Gahan, Moby, Cindy Lauper, and countless other cool folks.

Also with:
FUNKSHUN (Soul & Funk patio)

Midnight Conspiracy - Tracks 'n Videos!

"Dead Fame Tour" - Midnight Conspiracy - 06/04 HTX

Friday, June 4th

( Members Only Av- Chicago)

Midnight Conspiray:
Since their official debut in January, Midnight Conspiracy have maintained a steady upward momentum in the international electronic music scene. Their latest remix, a spacey synth-heavy update of Crystal Castle's classic "Crimewave", released in support of the band's new album and HARD Summer Tour, reached the #2 spot on Hype Machine's most popular chart--TWICE. The song joins the ever-growing list of MC's other successful offerings, including a dreamy dubstep re-imagining of Esser's pop anthem "Headlock", which was featured on BBC Radio 1 on the Kissy Sell Out Show, and an italo-banger version of Chromeo's "Night by Night", which also reached the Top 5 of Hype Machine's most popular charts twice.

Co-conspirators Graham Cody, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing aren't slowing down any time soon. In the coming month, Midnight Conspiracy are set to release a new Crystal Castles remix of their song "Vietnam", as well as official remixes for the Editors and a sexed up track from Lucky Date. In the meantime, the boys are hitting the road on their first official tour. The Dead Fame Tour kicks off on May 7th in Phoenix, AZ and will conclude with a huge party like only Midnight Conspiracy can throw in their home base of Chicago on June 26th. To get an idea of the dance madness headed your way, check out their latest mixtape..

“Midnight Conspiracy have surpassed the label of “up-and-coming”, and have established themselves as relevant contributors to remix artistry.” -aux

“…what makes this [Chromeo] remix special enough to post is the vibe Midnight Conspiracy creates. Imagine if Russ chimes and Danger got it on with a splash of the midnight juggernauts...” -gottadancedirty
